2009 FPYC Patriot Cup Tournament

FPYC is pleased to announce the 2009 Patriot Cup Tournament on 5 and 6 September. The Patriot Cup is open to all U9 to U12 boys and girls travel teams in the fall 2009 season.   Tournament fields will include artificial turf fields at Draper Park, Stafford Park and Patriot Park West.

The Patriot Cup will be a great pre-season warm-up due to several unique tournament features:

• All teams will play four games:
• Two preliminary game on Saturday, and one preliminary game on Sunday morning
• A Championship Consolation game on Sunday afternoon
• Any age group that is cancelled by weather or field conditions will receive a full refund
• All teams that participated in the 2009 Liberty Cup Invitational are eligible for a $75 discount

Applications must be delivered to the Tournament Director by 8 PM on 1 August 2009. The application fee for U9 & U10 teams is $490, and the application fee for U11 & U12 teams is $525. Teams will be accepted and grouped to provide the best level competition for all teams.

Teams must register at the FPYC clubhouse in Fairfax City the week prior to the tournament.  Teams must present player passes, official team roster, amended tournament roster, and medical release forms at registration.  All players must have a current player pass: birth certificates and passports will not be accepted.
