2010 FPYC Patriot Cup Tournament

FPYC is pleased to announce the 2010 Patriot Cup Tournament on 4 and 5 September. The Patriot Cup is open to all U9 to U12 boys and girls travel teams in the fall 2010 season.    (U13-19 FPYC teams may be organizing invitational events, and interested teams can contact the FPYC team in their age group.)

The Patriot Cup will be a great pre-season warm-up due to several unique tournament features:

• All teams will play four games:
• Two preliminary game on Saturday, and one preliminary game on Sunday morning
• A Championship Consolation game on Sunday afternoon
• No games on Monday
• Any age group that is cancelled by weather or field conditions will receive a full refund
• Teams can still redeem the $75 discount for weather cancellations during the 2009 Liberty Cup .  (This is the last opportunity.)
• Artificial turf fields at many FFX City and County parks. 

Applications must be completed by 9 August 2009, and the on-line application process will be available shortly. The application fee is $525 for U9-U11 and $625 for U12, which will have ARs. Teams will be accepted and grouped to provide the best level competition for all teams.

Teams must register at the FPYC clubhouse in Fairfax City the week prior to the tournament. Teams must present player passes, official team roster, amended tournament roster, and medical release forms at registration.  All players must have a current player pass: birth certificates and passports will not be accepted.
