2008 FPYC Liberty Cup Invitational

FPYC is very excited to announce the first annual Liberty Cup Invitational soccer tournament!.

The tournament will be held on 29-30 March 2008, on Fairfax City and Fairfax County fields. The tournament is open to U9 - U19 boys and girls travel teams registered for the 2008 spring season, and is an unrestricted sanctioned VYSA tournament.

The Liberty Cup will be an outstanding preseason tune-up for all age groups, and is a great value.

· All age groups will play four games, including two preliminary games on Saturday, one preliminary game on Sunday morning, and either a Championship or Consolation game on Sunday afternoon.

· Many age groups will play on the new Fairfax County artificial turf fields, including some evening games under the lights. These fields wil provide a top-level playing experience and will minimize the chance of game cancellations.

· The tournament fee is $495 for U9-U12 teams, $550 for U13-U16 teams, and $575 for U17-U19 teams. Teams will be accepted on a space-available basis upon receipt of a completed application form and tournament fee through February 25th.

· The tournament fee will be refunded for all age groups that are cancelled due to weather or field conditions.
