TEAM REGISTRATION
All teams must register at the FPYC Clubhouse in Fairfax City (directions below) during the week before the tournanent. A team representative may register multiple teams on the same evening.
- Girls teams: 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM Wednesday (3/24) make up: 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM Thursday (3/25) - Boys teams: 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM Thursday (3/25) - Teams from outside the Fairfax area can request an different registration time by emailing the Tournament Director before March 22 (travel.tournament@fpycsoccer.org)
All teams must have the following item to register:
- Original league roster, signed by club registrar - Two copies of their Liberty Cup roster (a modified copy of original spring roster) - Completed player cards, signed by club registrar - Completed medical treatment forms. Teams can use their spring season medical treatment release forms.
Teams create thier Liberty Cup tournament roster by making two copies of their original 2009 roster, crossing off players not participating, and adding guest players by hand. The Registrar stamp on original roster and on the player cards verifies each player’s eligibility. (Note: do not mark on your original 2009 roster.)
Liberty Cup staff will review all documents, and keep one copy of the tournament roster. Team representatives must have all other documents at each game.
Teams will pick up pre-ordered t-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as other team items, at registration.
The FPYC Clubhouse is in Providence Park, in Fairfax City, but does not have a street address. Providence Park is at the end of West Dr. (VA.NOVA, 13, H-11)
- From Rt 123 and Main Street in Fairfax City: Go south to West Drive, turn right, go straight at the stop sign, follow road to the left and enter the Providence Park, clubhouse is at the end of the parking lot.
- From Braddock Rd and Rt 123 by GMU: Go north on 123 to West Drive turn left, go straight at the stop sign, follow road to the left and enter the Providence Park, clubhouse is at the end of the parking lot.
- From 495: Take Route 66 West to Route 123 South into Fairfax City. Travel past the Old Courthouse and Massey Building to right onto West Drive at traffic light. Proceed on West to entrance of Providence Park. Parking restricted to Park lot only.
