2008 FPYC Father’s Day All-Star Tournament

We are pleased to announce the 24th annual Father’s Day All-Star Tournament.  Last year’s tournament provided a great end of season experience for over 470 teams from Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland.

The tournament will be held on 14 – 15 June 2007 on Fairfax City or Fairfax County fields, and will be sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA). The tournament is open to recreational / house league All-Star teams composed of players who were registered with and played with the sponsoring club during the 2008 spring season. No travel teams, travel carded players, or guest players are allowed.

All U9 – U19 teams will play three games and may advance to a championship game. U8 teams will play four games, without any championships. All players and coaches will receive a tournament patch. U8 players and coaches will also receive a special tournament t-shirt. Teams are encouraged to bring club trading patches to exchange after each game.

Teams will be accepted on a space-available basis upon receipt of a completed registration form and registration fee through May 10th  Clubs may enter multiple teams in each age group.  .

Teams must check-in prior to beginning their first game by presenting their player passes, team roster (signed by the club registrar), and completed medical release forms. All players must have a current recreational player pass from US Youth Soccer Association. Birth certificates and passports will not be accepted.
